A farewell letter to my childhood home. Family bonds and ruptures spill out as I attempt to unravel the relationship between memory and space, moving forward and reminiscing on family migrations.

This film negotiates the desire to go back and move forward at the same time. It investigates the concept of arrival as essential to the continuance of life. It theorizes that home must always be made anew and it must always be rediscovered in different places. To cease movement is to embrace demise. I grew up in the same home in South FL with my family and moved away in my early 20s. I intend for this film to attempt to define the nature of memory and the memory of space, track the migration stories of my parents to the U.S (as well as my own paralleled domestic migrations) and attempt to make sense of the ties that bind children to parents, to siblings and vice versa.
