Minnie Evans: Draw or Die

Editing was completed in 2025. We had a preview with NC Black Film Festival before post-production was completed. Thalian Hall Cinema Premieres, Nov 7th, 2025 was sold out. Several excerpts of the documentary are in the "The Lost World- The Art of Minnie Evans" exhibit at the High Museum, Atlanta. A public screening was hosted by the High at Tara theatre, Atlanta Nov. 13th. SDF sponsored a screening at the Forest at Duke in Nov. 25th. Selected as the closing film for Carrboro Film Fest - Jan 25th 2026. We are waiting to hear from film festivals and secure underwriters for the PBS NC broadcast. We are completing a screening guide and lesson plans with the Cameron Art Museum to be included with the educational use license.
