Hurricanes Sled Hockey

Granting access to a sport that most families with disabled children couldn’t fathom their kids playing, the Hurricanes Sled Hockey program does more than enrich the lives of countless families across the world: they turn adaptive athletes into Paralympians.

As the season barrels toward the prestigious Minnesota National Sled Hockey Tournament, the Hurricanes Sled Hockey Program struggles without its leader. Practices turn tense, games slip away, and doubts creep into the locker room. Out of the uncertainty rise three unlikely leaders: Rosie, Olivia, and Xavier.

Forced to grow up fast, the trio must learn that leadership isn’t about highlight-reel goals, it’s about trust, sacrifice, and believing in each other when the ice tilts against them.

As the tournament unfolds in a roaring Minnesota arena, the Hurricanes face their toughest rivals and their own internal fractures. Kayden returns from the Paralympic stage halfway across the world and realizes his legacy isn’t the records he set but the young leaders he inspired.

In a heart-pounding championship game decided in the final seconds, the three young players unite their strengths, strategy, passion, and grit to deliver a victory that belongs to the entire team. Hurricanes Sled Hockey (WT) is an emotional sports drama about resilience, mentorship, and discovering that sometimes the greatest victories happen when someone else steps into the light.
